The City Council joins the call of the FEMP to urge the end of the war and the restoration of peace
Benidorm convenes a rally in solidarity with the Ukrainian population on Friday on the first anniversary of the war

Benidorm City Council has called for this Friday, February 24, a five-minute silent rally in solidarity with the Ukrainian population and its millions of displaced persons, coinciding with the war's first anniversary. The concentration will occur at 12:00 p.m. in the Plaza SSMM Reyes de España, and with it, Benidorm joins the invitation transferred by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
With this gesture, in addition to showing solidarity with the Ukrainian population, Benidorm urges the end of the war conflict caused by the Russian invasion and restoring peace and international democratic legality.
