The itinerant installation 'Do not forget to collect your belongings' will pass through Poniente and Levante beaches
Benidorm continues the campaign of large-scale reproductions to raise awareness that users do not leave waste on the beaches
Benidorm City Council and the concessionary company of the integral management of the beaches -RA Benidorm- have resumed the striking campaign 'Do not forget to collect your belongings', which by large scale reproductions of waste aims to make swimmers aware about leaving waste on the sand. This itinerant installation can already be seen on Poniente beach, in the area of Elche Park, as the councilor of the area, Lorenzo Martínez, has proven today.
The installation has large-scale reproductions of the most common waste that swimmers usually forget on the sand after a day of sun and sea: cigarette butts, pipes, bottle caps, plastic containers, tetra bricks or ice cream sticks.
The councillor explained that this campaign, at zero cost to the City Council, is part of "environmental summer activities" carried out jointly by the concessionaire and the Department, and stressed the need to "mentalize people of the importance of collect this waste to keep the beach in perfect conditions and with the quality standards that characterize them ".
In August, the campaign 'Do not forget to collect your belongings' will move to Levante beach.
