Benidorm congratulates King Felipe VI on his 56th birthday
Benidorm has publicly sent a congratulatory message to King Felipe VI for his 56th birthday, which the monarch celebrates this Tuesday, January 30. To this end, and as it has done on other occasions in which major national or international events have taken place, the Benidorm City Council has made its technological elements available for this event and throughout the day this Tuesday, it will launch a congratulatory message from the 'tecnohito' at Plaza de la Hispanidad and on the screens distributed throughout the city.
The mayor of the city, Toni Pérez, highlighted that "once again we show the sincere affection and respect that we feel in Benidorm towards our monarchy and our head of state, accompanying him from our city on a day as special as his birthday". Likewise, the first mayor has sent congratulations to the Royal House "on behalf of all the people of Benidorm."
In addition to this congratulatory video, the City Council has also illuminated some of its most emblematic spaces, such as the garland of lights on Paseo de Levante or the Castell, in red, the official colour of his banner.
