Benidorm completes the device for the first big festival, Reggaeton Beach with Nicky Jam
The organization has set up a 'Green Point' to encourage recycling and avoid waste in the enclosure
Benidorm Sports City Guillermo Amor is preparing to host this Saturday, July 13, the first major festival of the year, Reggaeton Beach, an event that will start at noon and will have the international artist Nicky Jam as headliner. While in the facilities of the Sports City the assembly of the venue is completed, today the meeting of security and coordination prior to the event has been held, in which participated, among others, the councilors of Events and Festivals, Jesús Carrobles; of Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez; and Sports, Mariló Cebreros; representatives of the National Police Force, Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection; members of the organization; as well as technicians from different municipal departments.
The Councilman of Events explained that the festival "is perfectly organized in terms of safety, traffic and health device." Specifically, a private security team consisting of more than 100 people will be responsible for security inside the premises. To these will be added "Local Police force -with drone flights included- and UIP and UPR units of the National Police Body in the accesses to the site and surroundings of the Guillermo Amor Sports City", as well as members of Civil Protection . In addition, there will be a mobile ICU, two Ambulances of Basic Life Support (BLS) and TNA, eleven health emergency technicians, a doctor, two nurses and three lifeguards.
Carrobles pointed out that "one day before the event, specifically from Friday from 10.00, attendees who wish may approach the site to validate their bracelets and charge the payment system they have incorporated." In this way, "access to the site is streamlined on the day of the festival, and the public will not need to carry so much cash during the event."
The concerts will take place in the athletics field. Around this track, the hotel and leisure activities area will be distributed. To alleviate the heat, from the organization they have detailed that they are going to install aquatic inflatables, shadow zones and spray systems, including one from the stage. In addition, the swimming area of the pool will be opened and there will be animation groups around the enclosure with portable water spray systems.
Likewise, a 'Green Point' will be installed in which attendees can deposit the official bottles and glasses of the festival to encourage recycling and avoid the proliferation of waste. To motivate the use of the 'Green Point', the organization has proposed a series of games with prizes. In addition, inside the enclosure there will also be a 'Violet Point' against harassment.
During the first hours, the festival will be livened up by DJs. Among the artists that will go through the Reggaeton Beach Festival are Becky G, Farruko, Karol G, Juan Magan, Bryant Myers, Rels B, Rauw Alejandro, Lyric in the House, Atomic, Ana Mena, José de Rico, Víctor Magan and Cosmik. , of course, Nicky Jam. The concerts will end around midnight. After the performance of Nicky Jam, there will be a final closing show to encourage the staggered output of the attendees.
With regard to mobility, it has been enabled as parking in the area of the industrial state, and there will be a special taxi service on Foietes Avenue, next to the site.
