Benidorm City Council updates the Resource Guide for Employment and Training

It is aimed at students, active workers, unemployed, companies and institutions


The department of Employment makes available to interested persons a new updated edition, the eleventh, of the 'Resource Guide for Employment and Training "that advises, concisely and agile, those who seek to improve their employment situation. The work is mainly for students, active workers, unemployed, companies and institutions. With this work, "we want to provide useful information and detailed as much as possible, to facilitate access to training and employment in our immediate environment," said the councilwoman of Employment, María Jesús Pinto, in his presentation. "It is an essential addition to the work carried out from the AEDL", especially with regard "to the creation of businesses and support entrepreneurs." The 'Guide' details the training offer in the city, both in terms of formal education, and in particular for employment. It also advises about applying for scholarships, exchanges, job counseling and vocational training. Among its pages you can find the necessary information for business creation and a section dedicated to specific groups, such as people with disabilities. The 'Resource Guide for Employment and Training' has been prepared by Employment department in collaboration with the department of Education and has received a grant from the Provincial Council of Alicante. This edition consists of 800 copies to be distributed in secondary education institutes, business and industry associations, unions, associations and all entities or agencies that request. Also it forms part of the material that is delivered to the persons participating in programs AEDL.
