Employment and Local Promotion raises the amount of the call to 63,000 euros, open until the end of October
Benidorm calls for aid of up to 9,000 euros to collaborate with the expenses of business entities
It is intended to finance the expenses of administrative personnel, rent, and supplies
The Local Government Board (JGL) has approved today a new call for aid that is announced annually by the Department of Employment and Local Promotion to collaborate with the labor and operating expenses of business and/or entrepreneurial entities in Benidorm. A call that "in 2023 reaches 63,000 euros, 3,000 more than in 2022" and that includes grants "of up to 9,000 euros per association", according to the area councilor, Mónica Gómez, announced today.
Through this call "we want to help business entities maintain their staff, mainly administrative staff, and thus be able to continue providing support services to entrepreneurs who start or develop their activity in Benidorm".
As established on the bases of the call, which in the coming days will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), the amount of the aid received by each entity can be used for the expenses of administrative personnel, the rental of headquarters or to the water and electricity supply of the same.
The aid is aimed at business associations and entrepreneurs in Benidorm -non-profits-, which have an establishment or premises open to the public with opening hours and carry out support activities for entrepreneurs and companies in the city.
As in previous years, the call will be open until October 31 and applications may be submitted at the municipal website (https://sede.benidorm.org) from the day after the bases are published in the BOP.
Gómez pointed out that "we have always considered that employment is the best social policy that can be promoted and executed". Therefore, "within the lines of action of the Employment and Local Promotion Agency is the promotion and support of entrepreneurship, self-employment, either with direct actions such as advice or the management of spaces in the municipal Coworking, or through calls for aid like these, with which we support entities that are firmly committed to entrepreneurial people and that in turn generate employment”.
