Benidorm awarded in the 2024 National Awards of the Spanish Handball Federation

Benidorm City Council has been honoured by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation for its contribution to this sport at the 2024 National Awards gala of this sports federation. The gala took place last Saturday at the Santander Exhibition and Congress Palace.

The Sports Councilor, Javier Jordá, went there and received the award from the president of the RFEB, Francisco Blázquez. The award was for the first qualifying match for Euro 2024 of the Spanish women's team, the 'Guerreras', last October. The City Council was awarded in the Institutions category with a plaque for Sports Merit.

At the event, the TM coaching staff, Rafael Laert Veras, was also awarded for his great work with a medal and a bronze badge.
