Benidorm already shows on its beaches the new blue flags and Q of Tourist Quality
From today on the beaches of Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas wave the blue flags and Q of Tourist Quality 2019. The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Perez, along with the councilwoman of Playas, Mónica Gómez, and other companions of the corporation, have hoisted on Paseo de Levante the banners given by NGO European Foundation of Environmental Education and the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
The mayor has indicated that it is "a pride" to have these flags that "manifest not only the quality, but also the excellence" of the three beaches. "It is an implicit acknowledgment - Pérez underscored - the work of an entire city and of all the people who, from the integral service of Playas, allow Benidorm to look out onto its sand banks as it always does".
The mayor recalled that the City Council is "permanently contrasting" the quality of the beaches and the bay so that everything is in perfect condition, sanitation and providing services that "recognize precisely these badges." Toni Pérez stressed that if Spain is "a great power" in blue flags and Q of Quality Tourism, Benidorm is "who more quality and innovation applies", which shows "the variety and quality of services offered" on its beaches .
On the other hand, Mónica Gómez has been proud of the beaches of Benidorm. "The best beaches in the world,"she underlined, "where everything is working perfectly and ready to welcome our tourists one more year." Gómez has emphasized the normal functioning of services such as lifeguards, accessible beaches, libraries, toy libraries or Local Police, "which are always reinforced in the face of the summer season." Among the improvements this year, Gómez has highlighted the commissioning of two new points of public toilets.
