The events are moved to the weekend of 27, 28 and 29 January in Ermita de Sanç
Due to the weather forecasts that anticipate rains and low temperatures for this next weekend in Benidorm, the Commission of Festes de Sant Antoni has decided to postpone a week the events scheduled to commemorate the celebration of the patron of animals.
The celebrations of Sant Antoni Abad, of great rooting among the neighbors of La Huerta in Benidorm, have as a main stage the Ermita de Sanç. With the change in the schedule, celebrations will begin on Friday 27 with tournaments, parcheesi, and at night an open air dance. On Saturday the 28th the celebration will continue with the traditional bell tolling, the offering to the saint, the 'copletes' and, at night, the open air dance and the castle of fireworks. Finally, on Sunday 29, and after the mass, the blessing of the breads and animals will take place and in the afternoon, as a colophon, a concert by Unió Musical of Benidorm.
