The exhibition is based on the experiences gathered in ‘Alma de Músico’by Antonio Fuster Juárez

‘Alma de Benidorm’ can be visited in ‘La Barqueta’ until November 8

05 November 2019
‘Alma de Benidorm’ se podrá visitar en ‘La Barqueta’ hasta el 8 de noviembre

From November 4 until next day 8, prelude to the Festes Majors Patronals of Benidorm, you can visit the premises of the Cultural and Recreational Association 'La Barqueta' (Calle Tomás de Ortuño, 62), the exhibition 'Alma from Benidorm '.

This is the collection of images and scenes that Antonio Fuster Juárez collects in his novel ‘Soul of a musician’ that, precisely, was presented yesterday in the auditorium of Casa del Fester ‘Diego Cano Enguera’.

Ana Pellicer, acting mayor, attended the opening of the exhibition; Jesús Carrobles and Jaime Jesús Pérez, Councilors of Fiestas and Culture together with other members of the corporation; the presidents of the Comisió de les Festes Majors Patronals and the Association of Penyes ‘Verge del Sofratge’, Roberto Carretero and Coly Pérez; the queens Mayor and Infantil, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor; and the president in perpetuity of the Comissió and of ‘La Barqueta’, Francisco Llorens, ‘Paco Rosera’.

Francisco Llorens, said that from the association they intend to "make known" to the whole town "how was the Benidorm in which the novel is inspired". The exhibition is mostly composed of black and white images, some before the Civil War. There is also a typewriter from the forties of the last century and typed sheets, the fruit of creativity inspired by Fuster Juarez.

‘Alma de Benidorm’ is an ephemeral show. It will remain open only until the next day 8, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
