Mobility informs about traffic cuts on the occasion of Major Patron Saint Festivities
The Department of Mobility has reported the traffic cuts that will occur in the coming days on the occasion of the Local Fiestas. The only permanent cut will be for the installation of ‘El Porrat’, so that until next November 19 Emilio Ortuño Avenue will remain closed to traffic on the stretch between Herrerías and Primavera streets.
The rest of the traffic restrictions will be punctual for the development of some party events. Thus, on Saturday, November 9, on the occasion of the staging of the Finding and Offering to Mare de Déu del Sofratge, Alcalde José Such Street will be closed to traffic from 5:00 p.m. until the end of the pilgrimage.
On Sunday and Monday, days 10 and 11, Jaime I Avenue will be cut between Limones / Ricardo Bayona and Armada Española streets from 07.00 to 15.00 hours for the assembly and firing of the ‘mascletà’. On Tuesday, November 12, this cut will last until after midnight, since in addition to the ‘mascletà’ daytime there is a nighttime scheduled at 00.00.
Early in the morning from Monday to Tuesday, on the occasion of the ‘correfoc’ traffic will be cut off in the initial section of l’Aigüera Avenue to Hondo Street, on this same road and in Ruzafa between approximately 02.00 and 03.00. On Tuesday the traffic of Venus and Ruzafa streets will be suspended from 6 pm until the end of the Humor Parade.
Already on Wednesday, November 13, for the celebration of the Parade of Floats, Alcalde José Such street will be closed to traffic from 3 pm onwards. In addition, from 5.30 pm and until the end of the act, you cannot drive along Los Almendros, Mars, Venus and Ruzafa streets.
