About 700 athletes participate on Sunday in Benidorm in the first stage of the triathlon 'Triwhite Cup'

About 700 athletes from 150 national clubs will participate this Sunday, April 23, in Benidorm in the first stage of the VI Triwhite Cup, the most important and popular Triathlon circuit in the Mediterranean, which takes place in three autonomous communities: the Valencian Region Of Murcia and Andalusia.
Benidorm Sports Councilor Ana Pellicer has informed that this test, organized by White Go For It with the collaboration of the City Council, will be played in three different categories: Olympic, Sprint and Supersprint. The first one, will be at 08.00 hours from the confluence of the Vicente Llorca Alós and Murtal avenues, on the first line of the Poniente beach, and in it the triathletes must cover 1,500 meters to swim and then travel 40 kilometers by bike and finish With 10 strokes on foot.
In the Sprint category, you will have your departure at 10.30 am, participants will swim for 750 meters before facing 20 kilometers by bike and 5 strokes on foot. Finally, on the noon, triathletes registered in the category Supersprint, who will swim 300 meters, pedal for 10 kilometers and cover on foot a distance of 2.5 kilometers.
Pellicer stressed that Triwhite is "a test with diversity in the categories, which makes possible the participation and enjoyment of all triathletes, whether professions, amateurs or initiates." It has also highlighted the very important volume of subscribers; And added that with tests like this "Benidorm consolidates its commitment and offer in the sports tourism segment".
The registration deadline is open until midnight.
In successive stages, the Triwhite Cup will travel to Alicante, Seville, Carboneras and San Javier.
