The 34th Half Marathon will affect traffic of a score of streets on the first and second line
The 34th edition of Benidorm International Half Marathon and the 10 Kilometers Race Ciudad de Benidorm will affect this Saturday, March 3, the road traffic of about twenty streets on first and second line of the beaches of Levante and Poniente . The race will depart from Plaza del Doctor Fleming at 6.30 pm and will end at the Plaza de Sus Majestades Reyes de España-
From the department of Mobility based on the route and development of the race will proceed to the total or partial-depending on the cases- of the following routes: Doctor Fleming Square, El Puente, Plaza de la Hispanidad, Avenida del Mediterráneo - variable cuts depending on the development of the test-, Alcoy, Ametlla de Mar, Severo Ochoa, Alcalde José Such Ortega, San Pedro, La Armada Española, Villajoyosa, Mont Benidorm, Oviedo, La Cala, Paseo de Tamarindos, Vicente Llorca Alós, Alicante, Quatre Cantons, Constitution Square, Carmela Martínez, Plaza del Torrejó, Mare de Déu del Sofratge, Madrid and Castellón. Some of the streets adjacent to the circuit may also be affected.
In addition, the race will also pass through the streets Gambo, Martínez Alejos and Paseo de la Carretera, where the promenade area will be bounded for the passage of the corridors.
About the approximate cut-off times, in the finish area the traffic will close at 3.30 pm; while Mediterráneo with Rincón de Loix the closing will be done around the 18.00 hours. Fifteen minutes later the circulation on Armada Española Avenue with La Cala will be cut off. The section of Ametlla de Mar and Severo Ochoa that connects with La Haya street will be open to traffic at 7.30 pm.
With regard to the security device, it will consist of 23 local police officers from the ordinary service and 70 as an extraordinary service.
