300 Puig Campana students participate in the first Solidarity Race in favor of Save the Children
300 students and family members of CEIP Puig Campana have participated this morning in the first edition of the non-competitive Solidarity Race organized by the center in favor of Save the Children.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the councilors of Youth and Sports, Ana Pellicer and Arturo Cabrillo and other companions of the corporation, have accompanied the students in an initiative that aims to raise funds in favor of this NGO that will allocate them to education and development projects.
The initiative to celebrate a sports activity where the important thing is not to win but to participate, arose from the initiative that has always had the support of parents and students. The charity race was the last of the activities held at the center to commemorate the International Day of Peace, celebrated around the world on Monday 28. During the last days, teachers and tutors have developed different activities with students with the purpose of instilling values such as collaboration, solidarity or sportsmanship.
