200 Primary school children participate in an Escape Room with water as the protagonist
Groups of 5th-grade students from Benidorm, in groups of 50, have participated in an Escape Room activity organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with the water management concessionaire, Hidraqua. The initiative arose on the occasion of the celebration of International Water Day on March 22, but inclement weather has prevented its celebration until now.
The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, has accompanied today, the second and last day of activities, the students of CEIP El Murtal, Gabriel Miró and Bautista Lledó, who have participated in a group task to solve certain problems, all with water of protagonist. Yesterday, students from Leonor Canalejas and Els Tolls participated.
Moreno thanked the schools for their participation and Hidraqua for organizing the initiative, which has counted on the Elche company Ciencia Divertida, which specialized in the management of educational activities and children's entertainment.
The young people have had to pass four tests, and four simultaneous workshops related to sustainable development: 'Greenhouse effect', 'Fun recycling', 'Urban water sky' and 'Renewable energy'. All this in two shifts, the first at 9.30 and the second at 11.30.
