Antonio Pérez Pérez was born in Benidorm on June 2, 1968. He has one son.
After completing Basic General Education at Leonor Canalejas School, he studied baccalaureate and COU at I.E.S. “Pere Mª Orts i Bosch” in Benidorm, in those days he began to get involved in various youth movements: Horizontes Scout Group, Benidorm Local Youth Council and NN.GG. of the Popular Party.
Later he studied Labor Relations at the University of Alicante, combining his studies with his work at the Mediterranean Savings Bank until 1992, when he joined the Youth Department of Benidorm City Council as an advisor.
He has been a member of the Local Executive Committee of the Popular Party of Benidorm since 1992, being General Secretary of New Generations of Benidorm until July 1995, assuming the Vice Secretary of Institutional Relations and Communication in the period 2006-2012 and since 2012 the Spokesperson of the Popular Party of Benidorm.
Councillor by the Popular Party in the 1995 elections, he was head of the departments of Youth and Human Resources in Benidorm City Council until 2007, also assuming Education in 1999 and in 2003 was the Spokesperson of the Municipal Group and maintained and combined with the rest of the delegations until September 2009.
Since that date, when the popular government of Benidorm experienced a motion of censure, and until May 2015, he served as a Spokesperson for the opposition.
Since June 2015 he has been Mayor of Benidorm and member of the provincial, regional and national Boards of Directors of the Popular Party.
His hobbies: reading, talking, listening to music and walking, five things he tries to do whenever he can.
