Youth organizes four courses to obtain a boating and jet ski license

The Benidorm City Council's Youth Department is organising four courses for obtaining a boating and jet ski license. The goal is for course participants to be able to operate boats up to six meters in length and with an appropriate engine power. This license only allows navigation during daylight hours, without going more than two nautical miles in any direction from a port, marina, or sheltered area. This license is also valid for operating all types of jet skis.

The course is aimed at young people over 16 years of age who, with theoretical training (online) and four hours of practical training on open water, will be able to obtain their license in a single day. The courses will be held on August 15, August 29, and September 13, in the morning from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except the one on August 15, which will be from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. These courses are in addition to the one offered on July 18th.

On the day of the course, those interested must present a photocopy of their ID and a medical certificate (such as a driver's license or psychological test). In any case, they can find more information and register at the Youth Information Centre. The registration fee is 70 euros.
