Juventud instala frente al Centro de Información Juvenil los bancos ‘customizados’ por el artista Antonio de Felipe

The six benches 'customized' last summer by the pop artist Antonio de Felipe have already a location: in front of the Youth Information Center. The municipal technical services have installed the banks this morning, which Antonio de Felipe decorated a few months ago when he visited Benidorm on the occasion of his anthological exhibition 'The Best of the Beast'.

The councilor for Youth and Culture, Ana Pellicer, said that these benches "are part of the municipal heritage" and has clarified that "until now they had not been installed because we were looking for the right space for them." "It had to be a location - deepened - according to the modernity of this furniture and what better place than next to the area of Youth, which is a space dedicated to our young people."

Pellicer recalled that the previous furniture of the Youth Information Center had to be withdrawn a few months ago, due to the poor condition that presented.

In addition to these 'customized' benches, Antonio de Felipe left more samples of his art and creativity in other public elements. Specifically, he made a mural on the image of Benidorm from the 60's that decorates the entrance of the Museum Boca Calvari, a snapshot by the local photographer Francisco Pérez Bayona, 'Quico'.
