The work of Ametlla del Mar will involve specific changes in traffic on Juan Fuster Zaragoza and Zamora Avenues
The refurbishment works of Ametlla del Mar are going to involve specific changes in traffic on Juan Fuster Zaragoza and Zamora avenues as of this Tuesday, June 25. From Tuesday, June 25 and until day 29, access to Juan Fuster Zaragoza from Ametlla del Mar will be cut off.
Residents, users of Rincón de Loix health center and supply companies will be able to access Juan Fuster Zaragoza avenue from Bernat de Sarriá. While this phase of the work lasts, Juan Fuster Avenue in Zaragoza will remain as a bag, with a single entrance and exit.
The remodeling of the avenue contemplates an integral redevelopment in the stretch between Mediterráneo and Juan Fuster Zaragoza, although the improvements obtained by the City Council will allow the construction of a rainwater collector in this last road, and prolong the performance of the urban scene to Zamora street.
The remodeling, which has involved an investment of 1.1 million euros, includes the change of paving, signage and lighting; the expansion of sidewalks; and the implementation of trees, etc., and special emphasis will be placed on the renewal of water infrastructure and the improvement of the rainwater network. It also includes the creation of a bike lane in the center of the road, similar to that of Jaime I Avenue.
