The event, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of State and Tourism, has been convened by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), chaired by Miguel Mirones, and has had the presence of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto; and Secretary of State, Isabel Oliver.
Toni Perez said that "it is a recognition of the commitment to the quality of services and beaches that we have been doing in recent years" and added that "it is a job that has led us to turn our beaches into smart beaches, knowing at all times that quality is a fundamental vector in which Benidorm has always been the spearhead ".
