The Societat Musical La Nova and the Societat Recreativa Musical d'Altea La Vella offer a concert in Óscar Esplá auditorium

Yesterday afternoon, the Óscar Esplá auditorium hosted the concert offered by the Societat Musical La Nova de Benidorm and the Societat Recreativa Musical d'Altea La Vella, within the 'XIX Campanya de Concerts d'Intercanvis', with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the Benidorm City Council.

The event was attended by the mayor of Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, and members of the municipal corporation, as well as a large audience that gathered in the auditorium at 8:00 p.m.

The event began with the Societat Recreativa Musical d'Altea La Vella, directed by Andrés Colomina i Bernabeu, who performed the pasodoble 'Socarrats i Tramussers', the Moorish march 'Susana', the suite 'Caribbean Concerto' and ended with the Pas -Masero 'From Quiroga to Sèneca Buses'.

The second part of the program was carried out by the Societat Musical La Nova de Benidorm, which first performed the pasodoble 'Música y vino', the symphonic suite 'Alejandro Magno', a selection called 'Santana a Portrait' and finished its performance with the Christian march 'Christian Conquest'. The musical pieces were directed by Francisco José Rovira Peretó.

The second part of this concert will take place on July 16 when the Societat Musical La Nova returns the visit to Altea within this 'Campanya de Concerts d'Intercanvis'.
