The fourth edition of Skyline Benidorm Film Festival begins shooting in June with online workshops and educational and leisure activities aimed at students in educational centers in the city. The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, and the director of the short film competition, Beatriz Hernández, have explained today that "the educational centers of Benidorm can request to participate in these activities and workshops, which are going to take place during the month of June and that they are designed so that the youngest ones enhance their creativity and know and understand film language better ”.
Both have reported that there will be a Didactic Workshop on Dubbing and another on a Horror Podcast. In the first, young people will learn basic notions about vocabulary of professional dubbing and then they will be able to dub fragments of fiction films, documentaries and cartoons in various languages. In the second workshop, students will learn to create a radio program by themselves. These two workshops will be held live through the Zoom platform.
In addition, Skyline Benidorm Film Festival in collaboration with Humans Fest 2020 offers screenings of short films on human rights with the presence of the director of this last event.
