Hundreds of students from Benidorm schools and their families gathered on Friday afternoon at the Guillermo Amor Sports City for the traditional Medal Ceremony of the School Multisports Games (JME), in Benidorm, which celebrated its forty-second edition this year

Students from the Higher Degree in Socio-Sports from Lope de Vega International School have also participated as instructors.

The Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá; The first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer and other members of the corporation made up the institutional representation at the end of the JME festivities, flanked by municipal technicians led by their boss, Alfonso Alonso.

Javier Jordá welcomed family members and athletes on a day that “combines” education and sport. The councillor reiterated, once again, the “support of the City Council” for the “necessary training” from an early age in the practice of sports activities that “in addition to healthy competition encourages effort and teamwork” and “was grateful” for the effort of families to “support the future of sport in Benidorm”.

After the words of the Sports Manager, the medals were awarded to all the participating children, while the municipal technicians are already working on organizing the next games that will begin next year.
