One more year the supporters of Benidorm have participated massively in the festivity of 'La Mona', a day of coexistence organized by the Association of Penyes Verge del Sofratge and that has congregated about 3,000 festeros of 126 clubs. In addition to the supporters' clubs, the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals with their senior and children queens, Fátima Carrobles and Anna Calbo participated in this day.
About 13.30 the Associació de Penyes presided by Dani Luque has offered an official 'picaeta' attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; members of the corporation; and the president of the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals, Paco Marín.
According to data provided by the Association, more than 2,600 Easter monkeys have been distributed among the supporters.
The next big appointment of the clubs will be from 27 to 29 April with the camping, which will also be held in El Murtal.
