The Territorial Pact for Employment of the Marina Baixa, the body chaired by the Benidorm City Council, is going to hire three technicians who will be in charge of preparing and developing the joint projects agreed by the 18 municipalities of the region, mainly aimed at promoting training specialized professional and business management capacity, as well as the job placement of priority groups.

The mayor of Employment and Local Development and representative of the Benidorm City Council in the Marina Baixa Employment Pact, Mónica Gómez, explained that "following the planned schedule, this offer has already been published in the Espai Labora Benidorm with the aim of that the required technical personnel can be incorporated before the end of May”. Gómez has specified that "these contracts will last until the end of 2024" and will be paid for "from a grant obtained from the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor amounting to 194,541.67 euros."

According to her, she has detailed, “three specific profiles are sought: a labor insertion technician who will act as coordinator of the actions of the Pact; a company training and prospecting technician; and an administrator. The personal selection process is open "to residents of the 18 municipalities of the Marina Baixa" and Labora will be in charge of surveying and evaluating the people registered in the offer. Subsequently, each candidate will be interviewed.

Registration must be formalized in the Espais Labora of the region or through Punt Labora (https://puntlabora.gva.es/puntlabora) before April 21, the date on which the candidate survey will take place.

All the details and requirements of the demanded positions can be consulted on the Notice Board of the Benidorm City Council. Broadly speaking, for the job placement technical coordinator position (occupation code 26241023 professional counselors) you must have a degree; while for the company training and prospecting technician (occupation code 23211070 technicians and training coordinators) a diploma or degree is required. Finally, for the administrative position (code 43091029 administrative in general) it is required to have a Bachelor's or FP II in Administration.

In addition, for all three positions, a B driving license and your vehicle are required.

All of them will exercise their functions from Benidorm.

Gómez has stressed that "from the moment we assumed the Presidency of this Territorial Pact for Employment of the Marina Baixa, the Benidorm City Council has been agile when it comes to taking the necessary steps for the body to start operating and to develop the planned projects so that the results can begin to be seen as soon as possible”.

As indicated in the report that was transferred to the Ministry, this body will promote "the necessary plans to take advantage of the sources of labor insertion detected, and coordinate public policies to insert job seekers into the labor market and, especially women, young people and people over 45 years of age”. In addition, they are going to "carry out training policies and programs" that "makes it possible to optimize the relationship between supply and demand in the labor market" of the Marina Baixa, "with special attention to the group of young people", as well as "promote the development business management capacity”.

In the same way, the Pact wants to update the territorial diagnosis of the Marina Baixa area within the framework of the Avalem Territori program, in collaboration with the University of Alicante.
