The Local Police in Benidorm puts into service the new vehicle of reports

This is a rental vehicle to respond to the urgent need of the body, which will be in service until the contract is awarded for the purchase of a new vehicle

The Local Police of Benidorm has already a new van for 'investigation reports', of rent, that will provide service while the contract of purchase of a new vehicle for the body is solved. The Councilor for Citizen Security in Benidorm, Lorenzo Martínez, said that "we have responded to an urgent need of our Local Police," adding that "this rapid performance demonstrates the commitment of the Government team to meet the priority needs of Benidorm, especially in matters of citizen security ".

Benidorm City Council has increased and renovated in recent weeks the mobile fleet of the Local Police with the incorporation, through the leasing system, of three hybrid patrol vehicles, which were presented last August and soon an off-road will be added for the Rural Patrol.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, detailed in the presentation that, with these new vehicles, "two cars are replaced", reason why "the mobile fleet of the Local Police grows in a vehicle" to 18. that with the new vehicles "we started adapting the police fleet to the hybrid system" and, therefore, "to care for and protect our environment with lower carbon emissions".

The Municipal Government also plans to renew police motorcycles and increase in the coming years the number of troops of the Local Police.
