Kaufman's geometry fills the Espai d’Art Urbà ‘El Carrasco’
From today you can visit in the Espai d’Art ‘El Carrasco’ the interactive exhibition ‘Kaufman / Transfer’, made by the creative James Marr, Kaufman,
The author, together with the Councilor for Historical Heritage has made a first tour of the exhibition that allows you to discover, through QR codes, the urban reference space that Kaufman has used to rebuild his work. A contemplative activity, and at the same time playful since the visitor can try to find out where the lines that are, finally revealed, through their mobile devices come from.
That is why Ana Pellicer has questioned in the presentation of the exhibition if it is possible to “transfer the essence, often ephemeral and random of the urban”, or if that transfer can “be artistic”. The answer is found in Kaufman's own work that interprets the city "as synonymous with vertiginous changes and movements." A city that "never stops," Pellicer said.
The exhibition will remain in the Espai d’Art Urbà ‘El Carrasco’ throughout the winter.
