Education elaborates ex officio the 1st remittance with 668 minors born in 2018 and 2019 who have had help this course
Education launches grants for the purchase of school materials for students in the 2nd cycle of Infant, which will be 63 euros
The application is open for minors who start school and for those who did not receive help last year
One more year, the Department of Education will enable a grant for the purchase of school materials for the students of the 2nd cycle of Infant in public and subsidized schools in Benidorm, aimed at families registered in the city. For the second consecutive course, “the maximum aid per minor will be 63 euros; an amount with which the City Council contributes to reducing the disbursement of material that families have to make in this educational cycle”, as indicated by the councilor for the area, Maite Moreno.
Moreno highlighted that "this aid for the acquisition of school supplies is one of the lines of direct support for families promoted by the Department of Education and, probably, the one that reaches a greater number of beneficiaries, since the course 2022/ 2023 it reached more than a thousand minors”.
As in the past year, "to simplify the access of families to these aids as much as possible, the Department of Education has ex officio prepared a first remittance of beneficiary students, in which all minors have been included born in the years 2018 and 2019 who already enjoyed this subsidy in the 2022/2023 academic year”. This first remittance includes 668 minors and amounts to 42,084 euros.
Moreno advanced that "in the coming weeks this first remittance will be published and approved and the deadlines for collecting the vouchers, exchangeable in the establishments adhering to this call for aid, will be published."
Likewise, the councilor reported that "the application period is now open for students who this year join schools in the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education and for those who continue to study at this level but did not receive help last year." The application can be made until September 29, at 3:00 p.m., on the Municipal website: https://sede.benidorm.org. Then, you must access the 'Catalogue of services' and choose the option 'Request for help with school materials' in the Education department. An electronic certificate is not required for this procedure.
Those people who have difficulty carrying out the procedure can go to the Municipal Psycho-pedagogical Office, located in the CEIP Ausiàs March, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; or, to the Department of Education on the third floor of the town hall.
The City Council has reserved an item of 72,000 euros for these aids.
