The CEIP Serra Gelada recreates a small-scale Fitur with all the regions of Spain
The public Infant and Primary School Serra Gelada in Benidorm celebrated the end of the school year today by recreating in its classrooms the International Tourism Fair, Fitur, which is held every January in Madrid and is one of the most important tourist events in the world calendar for our city. Students and teachers from the centre have collected in each of these classes the highlights of the tourist offer, geography, history, art or gastronomy of the 17 communities and two autonomous cities of Spain in this particular Fitur, which has been the culmination of the project with which they have worked all this year to fully understand all the wealth of our country.
Mayor Toni Pérez and the Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, have participated in this activity, thus accepting the students' invitation to share this last day of class with them. Both have visited every one of the school's Infant and Primary classrooms in the company of the director of Serra Gelada, Pura García, and have been able to share with the students the results of all their efforts during the course.
Pérez congratulated the students and their teachers and wished them “a happy summer and a well-deserved happy vacation”, a wish that he extended “to all the children and adolescents of our city who have completed this academic year today and to all their teachers and professors.”
