The provincial entity allocates 20 million euros for this new campaign to promote consumption

Benidorm will receive 645,174 euros from the Provincial Council for the next consumer voucher campaign #BenidormTeDaMás

Benidorm recibirá 645.174 euros de la Diputación para la próxima campaña de bonos consumo #BenidormTeDaMás

The Provincial Council of Alicante will allocate a total of 645,174 euros to Benidorm to carry out the next campaign to promote consumption in this year of 2024. This is stated in the announcement published today in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) in which the call and the bases for granting this subsidy to town councils and local entities in the province appear. The provincial entity allocates twenty million euros to this call.

The purpose of the campaign is the implementation by the town councils of campaigns to promote consumption developed through the consumer voucher system in the modalities of management by the city council itself, through digital platforms or the businesses associated with the campaign until December 31 of this year.

Benidorm City Council, like the rest of the province, may request the subsidy within 20 business days from the publication of the call in the BOP. The subsidy establishes a predetermined maximum amount based on the number of inhabitants.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, already announced a few days ago that the City Council will join the Provincial Council's campaign in what will be the fifth edition of the #BenidormTeDaMás consumer bonuses. In this way, the council will once again launch new lines of aid for families and homes, with which they can meet "the most basic needs such as the purchase of food, hygiene items or the payment of energy supplies, gas or electricity. light", as indicated by the first mayor. Toni Pérez has stressed that, with these actions, “ we stand alongside our neighbours and companies and manage initiatives that benefit the city as a whole, of course, It could be another way.”

The mayor recalled that the city “was a pioneer” in the implementation of these consumption bonuses in December 2021 “at a time when it was necessary to generate economic activity and help families” and that the formula adopted “demonstrated its effectiveness in achieving that double objective and that is why since then it has been replicated in many places, although with certain differences.”
