The mayor recalled that the city “was a pioneer” in the implementation of these consumption bonuses in December 2021 “at a time when it was necessary to generate economic activity and help families” and that the formula adopted “demonstrated its effectiveness in achieving that double objective and that is why since then it has been replicated in many places, although with certain differences.”
