Benidorm will host the Undersea Festival in June, a new musical event to welcome the summer

It will last 14 hours, starting at noon and closing at 2:00 a.m.
On June 14th, a new musical event will arrive in Benidorm, specifically in the Iberia zone in Terra Mítica theme park. The Undersea Festival was presented this morning at Benidorm City Hall as an activity promoted by the Department of Events.
Jesús Carrobles emphasised that his department "promotes the festival because it is an event that promotes the city and because the 5,000 attendees ultimately come, visit, and stay in Benidorm." He added, "This first edition will have a great impact, as it was created to establish itself and grow in the local events scene."
Thus, as explained by José Sánchez, one of the promoters, it is "a very ambitious project that seeks to establish itself as a festival of international stature in the medium and long term, and to achieve this, excellence in customer experience and our vision are the roadmap." Sánchez aims for the event to become "a benchmark in the culture and leisure sector and to provide Benidorm, as a global tourism icon, with a macro festival on par with the largest in the world."
The organisers have estimated attendance at around 5,000 people, with plans to increase in future editions. The Undersea Festival will feature six stages and a "main stage" with cutting-edge technology. The six stages will be divided into two zones: an area for those over 21 with no age limit, featuring a "more relaxed and boutique" atmosphere with music of all styles and "remember" music, and another "mainstream" area for an audience over 16, with "an atmosphere more suited to those ages who are looking to have fun, new experiences, and meet people," Sánchez explained. "We want to reinvent the concept of a massive festival and transfer it to a magical place, and that's why we also conceived it as a welcome to summer," he added.
The event will last 14 hours, from 12 noon until 2 a.m., although an official after-party will also be held at Ku nightclub until 8 a.m., "for which there will be shuttles for those who want to attend." José Sánchez is confident that "we'll manage to sell out because we've already sold more than 1,500 tickets. Tickets can be purchased online at www.underseafestival.com and the Ku Playa and Moon Beach leisure venues. Tickets are available now for €23, although their price will increase as the event approaches.
The venue will feature twelve bars, four VIP zones, five food trucks, a restaurant, and four shows, as well as two swimming pools.
