The successful series 'Benidorm' of the British channel ITV will return to the city from tomorrow until Sunday, although this time it will not be to record new chapters, but to celebrate a meeting with the fans of this 'sitcom' that lasted for ten seasons from 2007 to 2018.
The creator of the series, Derren Litten has organized BeniCon, the first meeting of fans where actors and actresses, as well as the technical team, will participate. For the occasion, there will also be an exhibition of costumes, sets, and memorabilia from the program, a karaoke at Neptune's, and a gala night at Benidorm Palace.
The convention will take place at Meliá hotel for three days from ten in the morning until six in the afternoon with an exhibition of costumes and props, questions and answers to the creatives and the team that worked on the series. It will also be a wonderful opportunity to take pictures with the characters.
The meeting will also include contests, costumes, themed bars, and location scouting. Additional trips will also be made to places in the series such as 'Peacock Island' and Fuentes del Algar. The highlight of the meeting will be the Gala Reunion Show at Benidorm Palace, a show that will be presented by Derren Litten, the creator and writer of the series.
The organizers have ventured that the event will be a success since all reservations have already been sold for several weeks. The number of attendees will reach a thousand, as reported.
