The Councilor for Beaches, Lorenzo Martínez, stated that this award reflects "the commitment of Benidorm with its beaches, where we will continue to mobilize all the human and material resources that are within our reach to continue pampering our beaches, our main tourist asset" .
The awarding of this award and the insignia it entails, not only endorse the quality of the waters on the award-winning beaches, but also are awarded based on services and facilities, the information it offers, safety and life-saving services and the cleanliness and environmental management that is carried out in them.
