21 September 2019

On Saturday, the activities scheduled for the Mobility Week, dedicated to mobility on foot and ending tomorrow with the 'European Day Without Cars', have continued in a week in which the Councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate has highlighted "that Benidorm has raised throughout this week dedicated to mobility, actions aimed at Sustainable Mobility."

This morning there was a walking tour, in which residents of the city participated, accompanied by the Councilors of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca and Culture and Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez with several municipal technicians of the area.

The objective of this day, as the councilor of the area has pointed out is "to make known to our neighbors the great effort that this government team is doing to make Benidorm a friendly and comfortable city, not only with the tourists who visit us, but also with our neighbors in the city. The PMUS already told us about more than 70% of pedestrian routes in the city of Benidorm. "

The route of this activity travelled through the main streets of Calvari neighborhood and annexed areas such as Costera del Barco and Pescadores street and also the old town, so that the citizen knows new pedestrian streets of the city "that at first seem like a annoyance and receive some criticism, but in the end they thank us "said González de Zárate.
