Traffic on Camí del Salt de l’Aigua to be suspended from the 19th due to works on the Palau d' Sports collector sewer
The closure will last for one week, although access will be granted to residents depending on the progress of the works
Traffic on Camí del Salt de l’Aigua will be suspended from next Monday, 19 October, due to works on the new sewer collector serving Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm. Access will be closed in both directions between Avenida Comunidad Valenciana and the Palau for one week, which is the estimated duration of the works. However, residents will be allowed access depending on the work progress.
The works involve a new sewer collector to replace the existing pumping station, reducing energy consumption, maintenance costs and the risk of sewage spills. The project aims to resolve wastewater drainage problems that have occurred relatively frequently at the Palau.
The project represents an investment of approximately €570,000, funded through the infrastructure renewal fund provided by the company holding the water management concession.
