The programming for International Women's Day continues with a concert, poetry recital and an exhibition of bobbin lace
Following the programming organized by the Department of Equality on the occasion of International Women's Day. A program that will last until next Tuesday the 15th, and that today is starring music, poetry and textile art, specifically bobbin lace.
The mayor of the department, Ángela Zaragozí, recalled that "in the extensive programming of International Women's Day, the Department of Equality has had the collaboration of the Departments of Sports, Education and Historical Heritage, and also of local entities such as associations of Bobbin lacemakers or the Housewives of Benidorm”.
Precisely, "two of the activities planned today have these two entities as protagonists". Thus, during the morning, the Museo l'Hort de Colón has hosted a bobbin lace demonstration; while in the Casa del Fester a song and poetry recital is scheduled for this afternoon at 6:00 p.m. under the umbrella of the Association of Housewives.
To these activities is added, later, at 8:15 p.m., the second of the tribute concerts to women by the 'José Pérez Barceló' Professional Conservatory of Music.
