The municipal library is launching a solidarity campaign to collect food for homeless people during Christmas
Benidorm public libraries has launched a new charity campaign to collect non-perishable food items for the homeless in anticipation of the upcoming Christmas holidays. This campaign is being carried out in collaboration with the Red Cross.
The new charity campaign, undertaken by the Library Network, aims to "support those most in need during this time of year," as stated by the Councillor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer. The councillor emphasised that those who donate food in this campaign will receive a gift from the Library Network in gratitude for their contribution to this charitable cause.
The campaign begins today, Tuesday, December 9th, and will run until Tuesday, December 30th. Donations can be dropped off at the Central Library from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on Christmas Day.
