The Local Government Board (JGL) approves this Monday the third and last remittance, raising the amount granted for the 2021/2022 academic year to more than 66,000 euros

More than a thousand students of the 2nd cycle of Infantile will benefit this academic year 2021/2022 from municipal aid for the acquisition of school supplies. The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, has reported that "next Monday, the Local Government Board (JGL) will approve the third and last batch of these grants, with which the City Council collaborates with families in the disbursement of school supplies from this cycle of Infantile ”.

Moreno has indicated that "in total 1,067 grants of 62 euros have been granted to these students from public and the catholic centers in Benidorm, a figure practically identical to that of last year". Thus, finally, "the City Council has allocated 66,154 euros to these grants, which have served to serve more than a thousand families in the city."

The councillor explained that "this third remittance reaches 130 minors, who did not ask for help in previous courses and who meet the requirements established in the bases." Added to them are the students included in the first and second remittances: 638 who already had this aid the previous year and who continue to attend the 2nd cycle of Infant, and the nearly 300 boys and girls who have joined this 2021/2022 to the 3-year-old nursery classrooms.

Moreno recalled that "the vouchers for the students included in the remittance approved on Monday will be available from Wednesday, October 13". Each family can pick it up at the point assigned to them depending on the student's educational center.

Thus, the students of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores concerted center and Gabriel Miró, Mestre Gaspar López and Leonor Canalejas CEIPs must collect their voucher at the Education department, located on the third floor of the Town Hall.

Els Tolls and Puig Campana schools are assigned the administrative extension of Els Tolls; while in the municipal branch of Foietes the vouchers are available for the students of the CEIPs Bautista Lledó, Vasco Núñez de Balboa and Aitana. The beneficiaries of the La Cala and El Murtal schools will collect the vouchers in the Municipal branch of La Cala, and those of Serra Gelada in the extension of Rincón de Loix; while the students of Ausiàs March and Miguel Hernández have the vouchers available in the new municipal branch in Maravall street.
