Employment remembers that ‘Parenthesis Grants’ can be requested until this Friday, day 5
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, has reported that "the deadline to participate in the third call for Parenthesis Grants' ends this Friday, November 5, so I encourage companies and professionals who can take advantage of the same that take advantage of these last days to formalize their request ”. Gómez recalled that these aid "are aimed at self-employed, mutuals, communities of goods and SMEs of up to ten workers from very different sectors affected by the pandemic, and seeks to help mitigate the effects of the health and economic crisis derived from Covid- 19 has caused on the productive fabric ”. The beneficiary sectors can be consulted in the annexes to the bases of the call, also available at the municipal website.
Regarding the economic endowment, the person in charge of Employment and Local Promotion has pointed out that these grants provide a fixed amount of 2,000 euros for each self-employed worker or micro-enterprise of up to 10 workers, to which an additional 200 euros are added for each worker affiliated to Social Security as of December 31, 2020.
The ‘Parenthesis Grants’ are framed within Resistir Plan and are financed in three ways by Benidorm City Council, Generalitat Valenciana and Alicante Provincial Council. Benidorm has received 5.2 million euros. To date, in the two previous calls, 1,958 files have been processed, of which 1,846 have been approved and benefits amounting to 4,214,746.23 euros have been granted.
