During two days, conferences, meetings, cultural activities and presentations will be held "to advance matters that interest young people."
200 Youth technicians from the entire Comunidad Valenciana meet in Benidorm in ‘Inforum’
On the 11th and 12th of this month, Benidorm will host a new edition of Inforum, an event that will host two hundred Youth Technicians from all over the Valencian Community at Benidorm City Council to address and discuss issues of interest to young people and for the people who work with them.
Organized each year by the Valencian Youth Institute (IVAJ), the event will feature conferences, meetings, cultural activities and various presentations "that will serve to deepen and advance all those issues that interest young people and how we can offer them from the institutions ”said Jaime Jesús Pérez, Benidorm Youth Councilor.
This 'Trobada de la xarxa jove' will begin on Thursday 11 with a welcome in the Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council by the mayor Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, the general director of the IVAJ, Jesús Martí, the deputy director of the organization, Raúl Puerta and the vice president of the Valencian Youth Council, Irene Peris.
Thursday's session will offer a first conference on plans for young people and another on how to show them tools against misinformation. There will also be group meetings that will deal, among other topics, on education in values, VATJ aid to municipalities, associations or joint work. They will also talk about programs such as Erasmus +, JOOP, ‘Training Plan’, ERYICA and good practices of Xarxa Jove.
The second day, on Friday, will start with itineraries on youth participation, emotional well-being and youth communication and information. Afterwards there will be presentations about Erasmus + program and a conference on emotional education in improving youth well-being.
Inforum will end with another conference by Juan Ángel Poyatos, general director of Coordination of Government Action, and Jesús Martí, general director of the IVAJ, which will lead to the conclusions of this edition.
Jaime Jesús Pérez stressed that the celebration of Inforum will allow "to better understand the actions aimed at youth, as well as to have tools that help them in their personal development."
