Employment department and Avibe organize a course on new professional profiles in travel agencies
The Department of Employment and Local Promotion of Benidorm and the Association of Travel Agencies (Avibe) have organized a training course that, under the title 'The new professional profiles in Benidorm travel agencies' will take place this coming Saturday from 11 in the morning in the Municipal Assembly Hall.
"It is a line of training that we want to impart to entrepreneurs, companies, students so that they know and are trained within the wide range of possibilities in the agency sector" indicated the Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez at the presentation of the course in a press conference. Gómez, in addition, once again made it clear that "the City Council always supports the actions and initiatives of associations and we are delighted to carry out this course to teach students and professionals."
Next to the mayor was the president of Avibe, Juanjo Pérez Parker, who motivated the realization of this course in "the lack of human resources in our sector." Pérez insisted that it is open "to anyone who wants to be trained in this field and on the different profiles of agencies that exist".
The president of Avibe has insisted that "there is a significant gap" in terms of the personnel required by the agencies and for this reason, he has considered that "this could be a good day to make those interested see that it is a beautiful and dynamic sector".
Pérez Parker has also specified that "there is already a significant number of registered for the course", but he has recalled that anyone who wants to attend can register through the Local Development Agency and the Association of Travel Agencies itself.
Finally, Mónica Gómez has detailed that this will be only the first activity that her department will carry out this year with Avibe and that two more are scheduled for May and October.
