Education schedules a new ‘Continuous Session’ so that university students can prepare for their exams over Christmas
Benidorm City Council's Department of Education has scheduled a new edition of the 'Sessió Contínua' program to "provide university students in our city with a municipal space with extended hours where they can prepare for their upcoming exams," as reported by the councillor for the department, Maite Moreno.
The councilor reiterated that with this initiative, Benidorm City Council reaffirms, once again, "its commitment to our young people, offering them a safe and quiet space to study during a time of high activity in most homes and also in other public spaces hosting Christmas activities, such as municipal libraries, where it is therefore more difficult to concentrate on their studies."
This year, ‘Sessió Contínua’ will take place at the Adult Education Centre on Escuelas Street, adjacent to Leonor Canalejas School, and will run daily from December 26 to January 22, except on December 31, January 1, and January 6. Moreno pointed out that this change of location “will allow us to have the centre available for longer hours, especially during the Christmas holidays, when the centre is closed.”
Thus, from December 26 to January 5, the hours for ‘Sessió Contínua’ will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Starting January 7, when the school year resumes, the centre will be open Monday through Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
Maite Moreno expressed her hope that “many students will use this service and that, with it, we can do our part to help them achieve excellent grades on their exams.”
