Summary of the first five hours of #BenidormTeDaMás campaign: more than 19,000 vouchers downloaded and nearly 1,200 redeemed

At 9:00 a.m. this Monday, the sixth #BenidormTeDaMás shopping voucher campaign kicked off. In its first five hours, 19,041 vouchers have been downloaded, and 1,159 have already been redeemed, according to data provided by the councillor for Commerce, Javi Jordá. The councillor indicated that “once again, the response and reception from Benidorm residents has been outstanding, even on the first day of the campaign, which continues to attract more businesses and establishments.” In fact, the number of registered businesses surpassed 380 this morning, a figure that will increase in the coming days since companies have until December 30th to formalise their participation.

On this first day of #BenidormTeDaMás, the in-person service points set up by the City Council at the administrative offices in La Cala, Beniardá Els Tolls, and Rincón de Loix, as well as in the assembly hall of the City Hall itself, were operating at full capacity. A total of 212 people visited one of the administrative offices to download their vouchers, as they were experiencing technical difficulties accessing them on their own. Around 300 people visited the City Hall offices. Also during the morning, the City Hall's telephone hotline handled more than 160 calls related to the consumer voucher.

Throughout this week, in-person service will be available at the administrative offices from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while at the City Hall, the hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. From the 22nd onwards, all in-person procedures related to the consumer voucher must be carried out at the City Hall service point.

With these figures in hand, the councillor for the department indicated that “it seems that, once again, the residents of Benidorm will actively participate in this City Council initiative, whose objective is very clear: to inject economic activity into households and the productive sector. And all of this is done with the universality, unique character, and hallmark of the #BenidormTeDaMás campaign.” He reminded everyone that a total of 70,547 residents registered in Benidorm before October 1st and who will turn 18 between now and December 31st, 2025, will be able to benefit from the consumer vouchers.

All of these individuals have access to three vouchers, each worth 30 euros. Each voucher can be used as a discount on purchases and services of 20 euros or more at participating establishments and services.

In this sixth edition, as a new feature, all the campaign posters incorporate NaviLens codes to facilitate access to all information and participating establishments for blind or visually impaired people.

How to download and redeem vouchers

Citizens who wish to obtain their vouchers can download them starting today, Monday, at 9:00 AM. From that moment, they can be redeemed at local businesses. To download the vouchers, beneficiaries must register on the website https://bonobenidormtedamas.es. On the website, they must access the Consumer Affairs area where they will need to register, providing their National Identity Document (DNI), Foreigner's Identity Number (NIE), or passport number and setting a password. After completing the registration, they can access their personal area to download the vouchers in PDF format and print them.

Vouchers can also be redeemed from the BuyBono mobile application – available on the Play Store and Apple Store – once downloaded, without needing to print them. To do this, they must install the app on their mobile device and access their Private Area from the Consumer section, entering their DNI number and the password they used to register on the website.

Once this step is completed, they can download the vouchers. The app will generate QR codes for the vouchers and provide all the relevant information, allowing users to check which vouchers they have redeemed and the establishment or service where they did so during the campaign.

Users can also view a list of participating businesses in Benidorm, where they can redeem their vouchers directly from the app. This feature is also available on the website.

For this sixth edition of #BenidormTeDaMás, an initial budget of €1.8 million has been allocated.
