In addition to improving accessibility, this action generates a safer school itinerary, and includes new lighting, paving and gardening in Fontanelles
Education adapts the subsequent accesses of Els Tolls schools to gain accessibility and connect them to the park-and-ride parking facility
The Department of Education reports that they are adapting the subsequent access to Els Tolls schools to improve accessibility and connect them to the new park-and-ride parking facility created by the City on Calle Italia -with capacity for 300 vehicles-, thus generating a safer school itinerary. In this action, the City Council goes hand in hand with the educational community of the municipal children's school Les Fontanelles and the public schools Els Tolls and Puig Campana.
This action has begun today, once the storm is over, and will last for three weeks. This week, taking advantage of the Easter holidays of students, the projected work will be carried out inside the premises of these centers. Later they will follow the tasks abroad.
These works include the adaptation of the later access of Els Tolls and Puig Campana public schools closest to Italia street, thus connecting with the parking lot; and the replacement of the fencing, and adaptation and paving of a pedestrian corridor in the back of the nursery school. In addition, lighting and a video surveillance camera will be installed to improve security, and gardening will be planted.
