City Hall and UMH offer online courses of different levels of English, Valencian and Spanish

Benidorm City Council and the Language Center of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) offer online courses of various levels of English, Valencian, and Spanish, thus renewing their collaboration to promote language learning among the local population. The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, explained that "with this offer of courses we want to make it as easy as possible for residents of any age to begin training in languages or continue doing so."

Moreno has pointed out that "with these courses, we complement the offer of the municipal Language Classroom, we expand the training to more levels and provide users with time flexibility, since as it is an online platform, each person can access this training when their circumstances allow it.”

Specifically, this training will be carried out through the BeEnglish Lab, Llengua Lab, and Hispania Lab platforms, respectively.
BeEnglish Lab includes more than 500 self-correcting exercises, eight training levels from A1 to C1.2, and content adapted to Cambridge certification tests.

For its part, Llengua Lab has more than 600 self-correcting exercises, four levels (B1, B2, C1, and C2), and contents adapted to the official exams of the CIEACOVA (Interuniversity Commission for Standardization of Accreditations of Knowledge of Valencian). In addition, people who take one of the Llengua Lab courses through the City Council will be able to enroll in the official CIEACOVA tests held at the UMH and take the exam to obtain this title.

Hispania Lab, in turn, is a platform aimed at introducing users to the Spanish language and/or improving their knowledge. In Spanish the level offered is A2.
The Education Councilor for Education has highlighted that “Benidorm users who want to access one of these courses will have a 10% discount on the general price so that they will pay 71.10 euros instead of 79.”

The registration and access acquisition process is very simple and intuitive. Thus, after registering at the UMH Language Center, the person must access the link for the chosen language, and in the last step to complete the purchase enter the discount coupon: BENIDORM_IDIOMAS_2023.
