Hundreds of neighbors have attended the event to cover the worthy body, among them, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Citizen Security, Jesús Carrobles, the senator for Alicante, Agustín Almodóbar; the regional deputies, José Ramón González de Zárate and Manuel Pérez Fenoll; and a good part of the municipal corporation.
The religious ceremony was also attended by the lieutenant of the Civil Guard, Manuel Alberto Sánchez; the judge of Benidorm, Joan Francesc Vives; the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals 2023, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera; the presidents of the Commission and the Penyes Association 'Verge del Sofratge', Vicente Solaz and Ramón Cano; and representatives of local cultural and festive associations.
After the mass, officiated by the parish priest of La Almudena, Pedro Crespo, the members of the body who are no longer among us were honored, poems were read and the anthem of the Civil Guard was performed. Next, at Casa Cuartel, a reception offered by the Civil Guard took place.
