Benidorm inaugurates the VII International Poetry Festival this afternoon
El Torrejó municipal centre in Benidorm will host the 7th Benidorm and Costa Blanca International Poetry Festival (FIPBECO 2026) today and tomorrow on the fifth floor of the building. The festival will begin at 6:00 PM each day and will feature around twenty participating poets.
The event, organised by the Benidorm Poetry Lyceum in collaboration with the City Council, will be directed by Annabel Villar and Julio Pavanetti and will include the valuable participation of musicians Eduardo Castro and Carlos E. Muñoz Clavijo, who will accompany the poets during the recitals.
This year's festival features 20 poets of various nationalities, who will recite a diverse range of works. The list of participating poets is as follows: Alicja Kuberska, Alina Galas, Ángel Rebollar, Beatriz G. Ramírez, Cézar Viziniuk, Francisco Domínguez, Francisco Illán, Gabriel Chávez, Gloria Lafuente, Ángela Alonso, Guillermo del Pino, Janine Troutman, Joaquín Juan Penalva, José Antonio Ávila, José Martínez, Krzystof Galas, Manuela Martínez, Nieves Viesca, Pilar de Juan and Yovanny Ferrer.
