Youth department offers a free course on ‘Auxiliary Activities of Commerce and Warehouse’ to improve employability
The Youth department offers with Alicante Chamber of Commerce, a free training course on 'Auxiliary Activities of Commerce and Warehouse' to "improve the employability of the young population and thus favor their incorporation into the labor market," according to has explained the councilor of the department, Jaime Jesús Pérez.
This training, which is part of the PICE 2021 Training Plan Program, will take place during the months of May and June at 'La Torreta' social center and is aimed at young people between 18 and 29 years old who "are looking for a job and want to training in this area of trade, logistics and warehouse tasks ”.
Module 1 will take place from May 3 to May 19; while Modules 2-7 will be taught from May 20 to June 14. The training schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Through this 155-hour course, “participants will receive training in customer service, electronic commerce, 'picking', and social skills and employability, among others”, and will obtain the Food Handler's card for the Hospitality Sector and Retail Trade and the Forklift Operator.
The Councilor for Youth has reported that "to be able to participate in this course you must be enrolled in the Youth Guarantee and have completed the Vocational Guidance"; and he has encouraged all the people who meet these requirements to “take this opportunity to improve their training and professionalization through this free training activity”.
