As alwasys every year at the end of September, festive music was played again in Parque de l’Aigüera by Unión Musical, in a concert attended, among others, by the mayor, Toni Pérez; and the councilors of Culture and Festivities, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Jesús Carrobles; and that completed the capacity of Julio Iglesias auditorium, adapted to health regulations for holding open-air shows.
The Unión Musical band, directed by Oswaldo Olmos, performed nine pieces of the vast repertoire of compositions created for the Moors and Christians festivities, and among which those considered the first Moorish and Christian march in history, respectively, stood out. 'A-Ben-Amet' and 'Hallelujah'.
The concert, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, is part of the concert circuit ‘Músics amb Denominació d’Origen’.
