Its mission: transfer of scenes, work in urban scenes and provide service to the rest of municipal departments
Two new vans with platform join the Public Space department fleet
Benidorm City Council has presented this morning two new vans recently incorporated into the Public Space fleet. There are two Citröen vehicles, a white Jumper model, one of them with a double cabin. The vans have a power of 140 hp and can carry a payload of up to 1,280 kg.
The Councilor for Public Space, José Ramón González de Zárate, has indicated that the new units "will complement and improve the actions that the City Council brigades carry out in the different neighborhoods of the city."
González de Zárate has specified that the vans admit "the transfer between three and seven operators, in addition to the load" and that the vehicles will not limit the service only to Public Space but "are available to the different municipal areas" to facilitate the transport of urban furniture "or - he has given an example - of pavilions, tables, fences and chairs in the organization of festive events that we will resume when the pandemic is behind us."
The vans have a loading length of 3.2 meters by a width of 2.1 and a height of 40 mm. They have ABS, stability control, power steering, air conditioning and central locking.
